曾任软件学院副院长兼党委副书记，现为北京邮电大学计算机学院（国家示范性软件学院）教授、中国工程教育认证专家（计算机类）、北京高校优秀本科育人团队带头人、北京高等学校实验教学示范中心主任。在云计算、大数据分析领域长期与运营商合作，研究分布式系统、云计算平台的开发、建设和实施，利用云计算平台对运营商业务中的海量数据进行高效的接收、分析与处理。完成各类项目70余项，发表学术论文50多篇。
