Xiaolong Chen was born in Henan Province of China. He received the B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Tianjin University in 2010, 2012 and 2015, respectively.He is currently a lecturer of the School of Electrical and Information Engineering in Tianjin University. His research interests include protection and control of the microgrid, distribution network containing the distributed generation and hybrid high-voltage AC/DC power grid. He teaches undergraduate courses and these courses are theory of electrical engineering and experiment technology of electrical engineering.
