My research area is mainly about aerospace materials (e.g. Titanium alloy, Aluminum alloys) cutting mechanism and processes, such as cutting mechanism, material deformation behaviors, including the high strain rate plastic and failure behaviors, and numerical simulation of cutting process.
Numerical modeling for machining processes
Materials deformation behavior involved in machining
Cutting mechanism of difficult-to-machine materials
