Professor Zeng Jian, Doctoral supervisor, National registered planner, Tianjin planning and design master, Eco-city and Green building theory research center director in Architecture School of Tianjin University, Academic Committee director in Architecture School of Tianjin University, Academic Leader for Urban planning subject, Chief planner of Tianjin University Institute of Architectural design & Urban planning.Prof. Zeng’s in-depth research focus on Digital disaster prevention and Ecological safety, Urban design in response to climate change, Planning of high density urban centers, Coastal city safety and Sustainable disaster prevention theory, Performance-based fire protection design and Digital simulation of buildings, etc. Over the years, he is responsible for a large number of cutting-edge research projects, as a research project leader, 17 research projects have been conducted and 11 have been completed. These include Natural Science Foundation of China, National social science Foundation of China, National Key R&D Program of China and some other types of important scientific research projects. Prof. Zeng has also participated in the preparation of six books, as one of the chief editors, he completed the fifth and eighth volumes of the national large-scale reference book "Architectural Design Dataset" (Third Edition). He has published over 80 theoretical academic papers in the national core journals and completed more than 40 engineering projects.
